Dream of mom, woke up

I had a big swing in my back yard and I would swing so high that I went into the clouds. I felt like jack and the bean stalk. After jumping from cloud to cloud, I met this giant named Helga and she was grinding my mom's bones into bread. Then she pushed me back down through the clouds and I fell backwards on the swing until I woke up.

Freud claimed that this represented a boy’s incestuous desire for his mother and jealousy towards his father. Similarly Electra desired her father and was jealous of her mother. A girl may therefore unconsciously believe that she has been castrated by her mother and is now an incomplete male. According to Freud this gives rise to ‘penis-envy’, which is one of the root causes of women’s feelings of inferiority.

Meaning of woke up in a dream

When you wake up you actually see the life as they are, you are no longer closed in your concept. To wake up from the dream, you are really accepting and knowing who you are. We are all familiar with the situation called "dream". We sleep, we are in a kind of unconsciousness, disconnected from the reality around us. However, while we are "in" within the dream, we feel it as a real reality, and experience a great many emotions, thoughts and situations. When morning comes and we wake up we "sober up" and realize that everything that happened in the dream was not real, while the reality in our waking state is real.
