Dream of woke up, building, space

This was a reoccurring childhood dream that I had for years ending when I reached the age of 12, or so. The dream was all that I remembered after waking up in the morning and it really bothered me that I couldn’t remember what came before it. so what I woke up remembering so often was me swinging on a giant swing in an empty black space. I looked up and could see no top of the rope and when I looked down I could see no bottom, no floor. And you know that feeling you got in your stomach on swings as a kid? I felt that on every upswing. Of course time is weird in dreams and I felt this need, this uncontrollable urge to escape this endless swing by jumping off it into the dark abyss below. After building the courage to finally jump off the swing I always woke up before landing so I remember waking up frustrated by all of the unknowns regarding this very disturbing dream. I’m 66 years old today and have never forgotten this reoccurring dream from my childhood and I’m curious about an interpretation.

So many portions to this dream. I dreamt that I had a meeting at work for 1:30 and I had already had some time off so I needed to be there Nat was saying she put Sarah in charge of art for her health and that I would have this meeting. I had to drop off balloons for a birthday for one of the kids and I kept being delayed either I just missed the kids and I had to talk with Miss Wolsey one of the kids teachers. I kept feeling like the time was running short. While I was looking for the others I saw lilah and Zoey and all of a sudden there was a clothing fare and they both wanted clothing. Then I was stuck in a board room Where someone on the other side locked the door but unleashed a delicious dog on us. I’m not sure if I got bitten but I jumped out the window and successfully made it out of 3 floors the whole time thinking I’m late for this meeting but this is wild. While looking for my car I ran into an angel up the road. It was terrifying….terrifying but I remember holding onto someone or something and was determined to be brave. It started off as a scary ball of light then formed into a traditional angel with wings but as it got closer to me it became a cloud of smoke. I was welcomed into an architects office by two friendly ladies. An Asian man sat at the conference table and was rearranging a model of a building on the table. I wasn't sure if I was really wanted there or if I was going to be fired. But as I made some jokes we all laughed and I became more confident. The ladies seemed to want to hear what I had to share and I made a few more funny comments and it was nice and bright and enjoyable. Then one of the ladies said we were going to be able to leave early, at 2:30pm which I was happy about.

In the dream, I found myself in a room when suddenly I was taken downward, as if into the ground. I then stood before a very beautiful male being. He told me he had come to visit me and said that if I chose him and put on a shirt he offered, he would make me beautiful, give me influence beyond measure, and provide riches beyond imagination. The shirt was peach in color and had unfamiliar writing. On the front, I could read “one that sees” along with an eye symbol. On the back, it said: “wickedness assigned by the church to her- death – witchcraft – betrayal – rejected – isolation – blindness- silenced-slander-poverty.” Although I wasn’t afraid, I felt a sense of confusion. As he attempted to place the shirt on me, I responded that I choose righteousness and the will of the Lord over my life. Even so, the shirt ended up on me, and I immediately told him I did not want it and asked for it to be removed. Suddenly, I was back on the surface, walking, struggling to get the shirt off me- I called on the name of Jesus and was able to take it off. When I removed it, the being appeared again and asked if I was sure, repeating that he could fulfill every desire. I responded that I choose Jesus. In the dream, I began to pray intensely over myself and my family, calling out, “Jesus, I need you.” When I woke up, I felt an unusual, eerie sensation, as though I was being watched. I’m I immediately began praying out loud, renouncing anything that did not align with God, and declaring His Word over myself and my family. I reaffirmed that I am a servant of the Most High God and that Jesus is my testimony.
