Dream of mom, screaming
I was kept in dark home by my mom & dad I think, could not see their faces, kept trying to get out, at end I tried screaming to let someone outside know I was there, I think someone was with me but I am not sure who it was, at end I screamed out loud my husband woke me up , my mom is not living my dad is, they were not like in dream

Freud claimed that this represented a boy’s incestuous desire for his mother and jealousy towards his father. Similarly Electra desired her father and was jealous of her mother. A girl may therefore unconsciously believe that she has been castrated by her mother and is now an incomplete male. According to Freud this gives rise to ‘penis-envy’, which is one of the root causes of women’s feelings of inferiority.
