I dreamt that my child was kidnapped from right in front of me we were walking along a street when we came across a puddle i moved a few paces down where the water was swallow(er) and was calling to my son to come to me when a car drove past and my son was *****ed into the car i gave chase but lost him anyway what does it mean?

This is a recurring dream for many years. I dream I am alone or with my two children at the house where I grew up as a child. The main focus and my main responsibility of the dream is to always lock the gate outside the yard before it turns night. Sometimes during the dream, I will look through the window in the night to make sure it is locked. In the last dream, I did not lock the gate, if seems it was not urgent or I forgot or got distracted. When I came outside my car was stollen. I went to the gate to close and lock it but I struggled because it seems the lock was broken. I eventually got it locked with much struggle.
