All of a sudden we hear a gunshot go off and we panic. He begins to drive away and crashes into a building while losing control of his car. He's dead. I couldnt make out who the shooters were, but i found myself hiding behind a shower curtan with a wooden rod for a weapon. Soon i hear police sirens and decide to come out.

Meaning of friends in a dream

Joy and consolation. Aspect of self ready for integration. To dream of friends being well and happy, denotes pleasant tidings of them, or you will soon see them or some of their relatives. To see your friend troubled and haggard, sickness or distress is upon them. To see your friends dark-colored, denotes unusual sickness or trouble to you or to them. To see them take the form of animals, signifies that enemies will separate you from your closest relations. To see your friend who dresses in somber colors in flaming red, foretells that unpleasant things will transpire, causing you anxiety if not loss, and that friends will be implicated. To dream you see a friend standing like a statue on a hill, denotes you will advance beyond present pursuits, but will retain former impressions of justice and knowledge, seeking these through every change. If the figure below be low, you will ignore your friends of former days in your future advancement. If it is on a plane or level with you, you will fail in your ambition to reach other spheres. If you seem to be going from it, you will force yourself to seek a change in spite of friendly ties or self-admonition. To dream you see a friend with a white cloth tied over his face, denotes that you will be injured by some person who will endeavor to keep up friendly relations with you. To dream that you are shaking hands with a person who has wronged you, and he is taking his departure and looks sad, foretells you will have differences with a close friend and alienation will perhaps follow. You are most assuredly nearing loss of some character.

Meaning of police in a dream

Seeing the police in your dream can show you are looking for guidance, help or even a figure of authority in your life. This passage taps into a foundational principle of dream analysis: figures in our dreams often represent functions, emotions, or needs within our own psyche rather than just the literal people or professions they represent. When you dream of the police, your subconscious is usually projecting a need for structure, protection, alignment with rules, or external validation. Here is an expansion on the three core dimensions mentioned in that statement: 1. Looking for Guidance (The Moral & Directional Compass) The police are symbols of law and order—they know the rules of the road, the boundaries of safety, and how to navigate chaos. Internal Conflict: If you see the police in a dream, it often indicates you are facing a complex dilemma in waking life and aren't sure which path is "right" or "legal" (morally or professionally). The Need for a Map: Your subconscious is seeking a clear set of rules or a standard to follow because your current situation feels chaotic, unregulated, or unpredictable. It is a sign that you want someone—or a part of yourself—to step in and say, "Here is the correct way to handle this." 2. Looking for Help (The Need for Protection and Intervention) In the waking world, we call the police when a situation has escalated beyond our control and we require immediate backup. Overwhelm: Dreaming of police coming to your aid suggests that you are feeling vulnerable, threatened, or overwhelmed in your waking life. This could be an emotional threat (like a toxic relationship), a professional one (a project spiraling out of hand), or a general sense of anxiety. Desire for a Shield: The dream reflects a deep-seated wish for an external force to intervene, diffuse the tension, and restore safety so you don't have to fight the battle entirely on your own. 3. Looking for an Authority Figure (The Search for External Order) An authority figure represents accountability, structure, and sometimes, judgment. The Desire for Structure: You might be craving a mentor, a decisive leader, or a parental figure to take the reins. It can show a temporary weariness of being the one in charge, wishing instead to hand over the responsibility to someone who "knows better." The "Inner Critic" and Guilt: Conversely, context matters heavily here. If the police are chasing or investigating you in the dream, the authority figure represents your own conscience or "Superego." It means you feel a sense of guilt, fear exposure for a mistake, or feel that you have crossed your own personal moral boundaries. The Crucial Pivot: How Did You Interact with Them? To fully unlock this dream, look at your emotional reaction to the police presence: Relief: If their presence made you feel safe, you are actively ready to accept help, find a mentor, or implement more discipline in your life. Fear/Anxiety: If their presence made you nervous, you may be resisting structure, feeling judged by societal expectations, or battling internal guilt over a choice you've recently made.

I have several re-occurring dreams: 1. I see ex-boyfriends (two particularly ones) entering into a room or space I am in. Even though they do not talk to me or do anything directly with me, they make sure I notice that they are there 2. Carrying a baby on my back or attending to toddlers - bathing them, feeding them or cleaning them up 3. Bathing or being naked especially waist up 4. seeing my mother who died 8 years after struggling with dementia. In the dream, i am also trying to protect her so that no body takes advantage of her 5. In a school always trying to write an exam but not giving the right resources or not having enough time to finish writing 6. Back in my family house where i grew up where i notice that entrance doors are wide open when everyone is sleeping then i will try to close the doors but struggle. Sometimes i see a very black cat and i struggle to shout 'Jesus' or 'Holy Ghost fire'. Even when my mouth is open and i am screaming, the words don't seem to come out because it seems there is a force trying to stop me. Eventually i am able to shout then I wake up to see scratch marks on my body and an insect bite on my hand swollen (same part of my hand every time and this has being happening for years)

I was walking down a hallway of a hospital, I saw two past friends who are both doctors in different countries, don’t know if we interacted, but one told the other to come with her and she took her into a restricted area. I continued down the hallway and came upon a wing of the hospital that the majority of the hospital staff did not know was retrofitted as a quarantine area. Many people were in that quarantine area mainly black foreigners. It was like the couldn’t wait to see a staff personnel that they didn’t see before to tell them all that was happening in that quarantine area. I saw a resident doctor who is senior to me and asked him to walk with me. I wanted to ask hi questions. We started walking back in the direction I came from and one of his superior’s saw him and asked him where he was going, I quickly made up an excuse for him and we continued walking. We parted ways soon afterwards and I continued walking. I opened the door and entered a room where high level government officials such as the Prime Minister of Barbados and media officials were discussing another pandemic, TV and computer screens filled the room. The looked up at me a little startled that I was there and I quickly told them ‘never mind me I am just passing through’.
