I dreamed that I was at a funeral which was taking place at the church I attended growing up. For some reason, it felt like there was a connection to ovarian cancer, which did not surprise me as my mother had died of ovarian cancer 7 years ago. The odd thing about this dream is that sitting directly across from me in the dream was a man and two young girls. The man was a guy I dated in high school and went to my senior prom with. We didn't go to the same church growing up; we weren't even the same religion. I was raised Lutheran and he was Catholic. I have not seen or heard from or about this old boyfriend since maybe the late 1970's. The last I knew, he was going to college to be an accountant. (This is where everyone usually laughs, but wait....) This dream was so vivid. It stuck with me throughout my day, in fact several teachers at the school where I volunteer asked me if I was ok....I just seemed very preoccupied. I was so bothered by it, that when I got home, I did a google search using his name and profession (CPA), and it was the very first item that came up that has made this dream somewhat freakish. The item was an obituary....for a woman....the wife of my old boyfriend ....she had died 2 weeks earlier....of ovarian cancer....and they had two young daughters. Mind you, we don't live in the same state, in fact our lives took us in different directions. I married someone who was in the military and spent 20+ years as a military wife. We moved 15 times in that 20 years. Other than having dated this guy in high school and having lived in the same town at one time, I had no contact with nor did I hear anything about him or his life since the late 70's.

I drive gravel truck. I am separated from my fianc%C3%A9 for over a year but we still see each other. I keep dreaming I am driving in my car and I see a semi truck speeding along in heavy traffic. There is a 6 7 year old boy on the platform between the truck and the trailer crying and desperately holding on to the grill. I try to follow and stop the truck but I lose him. The second time I had the dream I pulled over to call 911 and experienced so much frustration with my cell phone not working right that it became too late to even bother calling. There was a race. it had thousands of participants, each had a number. i was red 116. there were about 7 top guys/gals who were heavily favored by the people running the race. this also all took place in several schools, but parts of it were on a dirt road and in a corn field on a hill. i started off far behind, but me and some friends tried cutting thru the cornfield to take a shortcut. they got caught, but i felt bad about cheating, and waited for a few mins and didn't get caught. i explained to my old friends from grade school who were in the race why i cheated and how i felt like shit about it, and they told me it was ok. i then started using my superpowers, the ability to run and jump like it was in the matrix. i then spent like 20 mins (or that's what it felt like) running thru the school, jumping over hundreds of students, eventually making it to the finishing point ahead of most people. the finishing point was the gym, where we had to earn final points for the competition by singing Disney songs. i placed 6th out of everybody and ahead of some of the favorites, but during the paperwork portion some prick cut in front of me, so i got credit for 7th. turns out all of the Favorited people were theater kids, they could all sing great. i was stuck figuring out what song i would sing/be able to sing, as i am incredibly mediocre at singing. i had to sing well so i could get a place in the top 10 results (which would be hard, as i got cheated to 7th place in the race portion). i was not sure if i wanted to sing Hercules or the little mermaid. then i woke up.
