In my dream, I was asleep on the couch (in the same position that I had fallen asleep in real life). I was woken up by the sound of my front door opening. I assumed it was my dad. I opened my eyes but realized that I was completely paralyzed. I couldn't move my head to see who it actually was. I tried to speak but every word that I could force my lips to say just came out muted or inaudible. It felt like someone had drugged me. I just thought I was really tired abd that was why I couldn't lift my head up and look. I struggled to look over at the door, but I couldn't. The person who I thought was my dad walked down the hallway to see if I was in my room. When he saw that I wasn't, he walked back. When he saw that I was asleep on the couch. He walked over to me. Then I realized that it wasn't my dad. It was just a faceless intruder. I struggled so hard to get up and scream, but nothing happened. I managed to barely move my lips, but my words didn't come out.
